Privacy promise

This library was designed to help people protect information without requiring them to hand more personal information to DiverseTek.

What this library does not ask for

  • No account or login
  • No name, email address, phone number, home address, or payment information
  • No Social Security number, IRS IP PIN, credit report, financial credentials, or verification code
  • No required marketing consent

What DiverseTek's library code counts

We record only anonymous aggregate totals for page views, guide-button clicks, PDF downloads, and optional 1-5 star usefulness ratings. The stored file contains totals by guide. It does not contain individual event records.

  • No cookies
  • No local-storage tracking identifier
  • No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising pixel, or third-party rating widget
  • No IP address, browser, operating system, device identifier, user agent, referrer, or location stored by the library's counter code
Hosting-provider processingLike nearly every website, the hosting provider, network, firewall, or security service may temporarily process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site. DiverseTek's resource-library code does not intentionally retain or use that information to identify visitors or build profiles.

How the anonymous counters work

When a page loads or a person chooses a rating, the browser sends only an event name and a guide ID to a first-party DiverseTek endpoint. The endpoint increments a total stored outside the public website folder. Repeat visits and ratings may be counted more than once, so these numbers are action totals - not verified unique people.

External official websites

The guides link directly to credit bureaus, government agencies, operating-system vendors, and other official resources. When you follow those links, the external organization operates under its own privacy and security practices. DiverseTek does not receive the sensitive information you enter there.

Marketing and communication

Viewing or downloading a guide does not enroll you in marketing. This library contains no newsletter signup. Contacting DiverseTek through the main business website is a separate action that you choose.

Security reporting

If you believe this resource site has a security or privacy issue, use the official DiverseTek contact page. Do not include passwords, Social Security numbers, verification codes, or other sensitive records in the message.
